Are you missing teeth and are tired of wondering what life would be like if you could regain the functionality of your teeth again? There is now a perfect solution for those who are on a limited budget and want to replace missing teeth. Dentures are inexpensive, effective, and easy to wear.

our denture process

Dentures are created from a variety of materials, including a cast made from your own mouth. The process is long and delicate. Suction is the principle behind stability. We will create the palate portion with a cast made from your own mouth, then place teeth in the horseshoe part of the dentures.

Suitable dentures are created in four steps:

  1. Your dentist will take impressions of your gum tissues and send them to the laboratory. During this time the lab will create a denture that is perfect for you.
  2. Then, a bite mark will be taken to see how the artificial teeth will fit in your jaw. This will allow your dentures to fit perfectly.
  3. At your next appointment, you will try on a pair of artificial teeth made of wax and learn how they look and feel. At this stage we now will be able to see how your final product may look and feel.
  4. Lastly, at your final appointment, you will receive the fitting set of artificial teeth and gums. At this point you'll be leaving with a fully functioning dentures.

The benefit of working with Dr. Lindsay is he has an extensive background in dealing with dentures and mouth restorations. If you have any discomfort he will be sure to find a solution for you.

denture care post-treatment

Sleeping with dentures for a few days after you first receive them will help you get used to the feeling of having them in your mouth. This period of time is also important to make sure the dentures are not hurting your gums. Because you can remove the dentures, it is important to take proper care of them. The most important thing you can do for your dentures is to clean them regularly.

This includes ensuring you are using the correct brush and cleaning solution. If you choose not to wear your dentures at night, be sure to soak them in solution. In order to prevent gum disease, it is essential to brush your gums at least twice a day.
